IIT JAM 2024 Exam Date Released: Check important dates
IIT Madras has released IIT JAM 2024 exam date today along with the application start date and last date to fill the application form. Students can check full schedule below.
IIT JAM 2024 Exam Date Released: Indian Institute of Technology, (Madras) has released IIT JAM 2024 exam date and the application process starts from 5th September 2023. According to the schedule released, the examination will be held in two sessions: Forenoon Session and Afternoon Session, as per the given subject-wise schedule. Candidates willing to sit for IIT JAM 2024 examination can choose to sit for one or two test papers. However, if both test papers are conducted in the same session, then candidates have to opt out of one.
IIT JAM 2024 examination will be held in a computer-based mode. Only the candidates who successfully registered for the examination between (date) to (date) and paid the application fee will be allowed to sit for the test. Candidates passing the examination will get admission to M.Sc, Integrated M.Sc. M.Sc.-Ph.D., Ph.D, Dual Degree, and other Post Undergraduate Degree courses.

IIT JAM 2024 Exam Pattern

IIT JAM 2024 will be conducted online.
The exam duration will be 3 hours.
IIT JAM 2024 examination will be held in English language.
Numerical answer types, multiple choice questions, and multiple select questions will come in the IIT JAM 2024 question paper.
The examination will be held for Chemistry (CY), Biotechnology (BL), Geology (GG), Mathematical Statistics (MS), Mathematics (MA), Physics (PH), and Economics (EN) subjects.
A total of 60 questions will be asked in the question paper.
The total marks of the paper will be 100.
