IIT JAM Application Form Correction Dates 2024 Released
IIT JAM 2024 application form correction dates have been announced, which will commence on November 20, 2023. Candidates should enter the login credentials to participate in the application form correction process.
IIT JAM Application Form Correction Dates 2024: The Indian Institute of Technology, Madras has declared the official date of IIT JAM Application Form Correction 2024, which will be started on November 20, 2023, in online mode. Candidates, who want to correct the submitted application form (if required), then they should visit the official website- jam.iitm.ac.in and make the corrections. Candidates, who successfully submitted the application form after making corrections, will be eligible to download the IIT JAM admit card on January 8, 2023.
Prior to that, the authority will scrutinize the IIT JAM application form to verify the entered data by the candidates. If any defects are found, then the same will be notified to the candidates via their registered email and mobile number. Post that the candidates should modify the application form by the stipulated time. To modify the IIT JAM application form, the candidates should enter the login credentials, such as application number and email ID or password.
IIT JAM Application Form Correction 2024: Fields that can be Modified
Candidates are not allowed to modify all the provided details in the IIT JAM application form. They can edit only certain fields, such as:
- Category change
- Gender
- Exam City
On the other hand, there are some other fields which can be modified by paying the additional fees:

Change of category from SC/ST to Gen/OBC (not applicable for female and PwD candidates) | Rs 900 for single paper and Rs 1250 for two papers |
Changing of examination cities | Rs 300 |
Note, that if the candidates have already paid any additional fees, then the same will not be refunded. Also, if need to modify the above-highlighted field, then the candidates should pay the additional fees online.
