IIT Jodhpur Announces MBA Admission 2020
IIT Jodhpur announces admission in the MBA program for the 2020 session. The program will focus on equipping students with management skills in their selected specialisations.
School of Management and Entrepreneurship, IIT-Jodhpur has announced MBA admission for 2020. Admission for the 2020 section will begin from July 2020. The 2 year MBA Program will be a “tech-management combo”. The first year of the program will be common for all candidates while the second year will focus on relavant specialisations chosen by the candidates. Director of IIT-Jodhpur, Santanu Chaudhury has claimed that the typical MBA programs have lost their value due to the rise of "new age corporations" and AI and analytics-led technology trends while explaining the need of the program. The new School of Management and Entrepreneurship will have several management courses to offer. There will be a total of 144 courses which will be a part of the curriculum. and students will be given admission basis CAT 2019 score. The institute will also offer Tech MBA which will train the managers in technology.

This old scenario requires a new set of skills and values in MBA programs to meet the current industrial trends. Santanu Chaudhury has also said that the college has partnered with several reputed business schools of Australia, Europe and North America to provide students with international exposure. He further added that the IIT campuses have the capability of playing a greater role in achieving ambitious national goals. What they need is diversification of academics into new disciplines where technology has a profound impact. Candidates will be able to collect all information about admission and selection from the School of Management and Entrepreneurship of IIT-Jodhpur when the admission season will begin. IIT Jodhpur also offers other courses like M.Tech, B.Tech, M.Sc and Ph.D. There will be a common admission form for all getting admission into all the programs at IIT Jodhpur. The college was ranked 50th in 2019 by the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF). There will also be courses for non-IITians for start up guidance
