The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur has begun inviting applications for an online programme on digital marketing. All interested students, entrepreneurs, and professionals can apply for the course within the deadline. The online course is called “Marketing in the Digital World” and it is aimed at helping participants in mastering the art of using emails, web marketing, social media, sponsored marketing, app marketing, affiliate marketing, e-Commerce, and performance marketing.
This online course offered by IIT Kharagpur will consist of lecture sessions, discussion on cases, hands-on-exercises, and analysing live problems. the programme is best suited for mid-level managers who are working in any domain of business, MSME and start-up entrepreneurs, and digital marketing enthusiasts.
The candidates who will enrol in the course will be trained primarily in adopting digital marketing practices, especially during this disruptive time when digital adoption is on a significant rise. The programme will also aim at helping budding entrepreneurs understand how they can increase the visibility of their companies. The participants will also be taught about the usage of data to understand customer behaviours to develop the required digital marketing strategy accordingly.
