IIT Madras Launches Online Cyber Security Course
IIT Madras has launched an online cybersecurity course, i.e., ‘Certified Cyber Warriors’. The duration of the course is 120 hours and it is delivered during weekends.
The Digital Skills Academy of IIT Madras has launched an online Cyber Security course with an aim to promote effective law enforcement, network administration. The online cybersecurity course is open for security experts in public & private sector, security professionals and public.
The name of the online course launched by IIT Madras in the field of cybersecurity is ‘Certified Cyber Warriors (CCW) v3.0’. The total duration of the course is 120 hours, and the classes for the same will be conducted over weekends. One of the unique features of this online programme is that it is a hands-on course comprising of practical sessions. The course is a combination of 52 learning tools and a 30-hour intensive boot camp.
The online Cyber Security course aims to help critical sectors and industry from various aspects/ issues such as data breach, misuse of private information and e-mails. Through this course, knowledge is incorporated on how to maintain strong servers with minimal to zero scope for data breach or hacking.

The registration process for the online cybersecurity course of IIT Madras is underway, and interested aspirants can enrol through the official website of the institute. The course will be delivered by the industry experts blended with the faculties of IIITDM Kanchipuram and IIT Madras.
The Digital Skills Academy of IIT Madras has already collaborated with the government and industry to promote education and knowledge in the field of cybersecurity.
