IIT Madras Summer Fellowship Programme: Apply from January 12
IIT Madras is inviting applications for the IIT M Summer Fellowship Programme 2020 for the non-IITians. Interested students can apply for the IIT Madras Summer Fellowship Programme in online mode from February 29, 2020.
Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras will start with the application process for its summer fellowship programme for the students from outside of IITs from February 29, 2020. The fellowship programme will begin from 20th May 2020 and continue till 19th July 2020 More details about the summer fellowship programme of IIT Madras are elaborated below.

About IIT Madras Summer Fellowship Programme: -
The fellowship programme is specifically designed to enhance interest and awareness in quality academic research among young management, engineering,humanities and sciences students through a goal-oriented summer-mini project. The fellowship programme is designed in such a way that it gives an opportunity for students to work with popular and leading researchers on current problems and the forefront of technology. Selected candidates will be provided with a monthly stipend of Rs. 6,000.

IIT Madras Summer Fellowship Eligibility: -
- Students pursuing third-year of B.Sc (English), B.Tech, Integrated ME and M.Tech, B.E, first-year of M.A, M.Sc, MBA,M.Tech and M.E are eligible to register for the summer fellowship programme.
- Any student from IIT is not eligible to apply for the program.
- While applying for the fellowship programme, it is advisable for students to highlight their academic performance and achievements, including projects executed, score or rank in Mathematics Olympiad (if any), papers presented in seminars, participation in design contests and others.
All the participating students must get a certifying letter from their respective institution, signed by the head authority. February 29, 2020, is the deadline to submit applications through the official website of IIT Madras.
