IIT Mandi Introduces Six New Postgraduate Programs
IIT Mandi has launched six new postgraduate programmes in the past one year to increase its postgraduate student strength.
Indian Institute of Technology Mandi has introduced around six new postgraduate programs between August 2017 to August 2018. The main aim of the institute is to introduce postgraduate courses to meet the target of having 60% postgraduate students as a part of its total student strength.
New Programmes Launched by IIT Mandi
The programmes launched by IIT Mandi are listed below:
- M.Sc. in Physics
- M.Tech. in Power Electronics and Drives (PED)
- M.Tech. in Very-Large-Scale Integration (VLSI)
- M.Tech. in Communications and Signal Processing (CSP)
- M.A. in Development Studies
- M.Tech. in Structural Engineering

All these post-graduate courses in core and applied disciplines are designed keeping in mind the academic and future prospects of the students. Dr. Pradeep C. Parameswaran, Dean, Academics, IIT Mandi, said that the main agenda of the institute is to attract meritorious students from all over the country to pursue postgraduate studies.
