IIT Roorkee Rejects 263 Applications of GATE 2017 Applicants
Candidates whose applications have been rejected by IIT Roorkee do not have required educational qualification to appear for GATE 2017 examination.
Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee which is the conducting authority of Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering or GATE 2017 has released the rejected list of the candidates who applied for GATE 2017 examination. As per the report released by IIT Roorkee, a total number of 263 applications have been rejected by the Institute.
The candidates whose applications have been rejected do not have required educational qualification to appear for GATE 2017 examination. On the other hand, IIT Roorkee has also released the provisional list of the candidates whose applications have been accepted and are eligible to appear for the exam.

However, the eligibility of the candidates for GATE 2017 will be decided by the final authority at the test centre. The candidates need to submit category or eligibility certificate at the examination centre on the day of the test.
The candidates must note that if the enrollment ID is mentioned in the provisional list, these candidates are not required to bring any proof for submission at the examination centre. Therefore, the candidates are advised to check the list carefully.

IIT Roorkee has also released the mock examination papers on its official site for 23 papers. The candidates can take the mock examination by entering their enrollment ID on the official site.
GATE 2017 examination will be held on February 4, 5, 11 & 12, 2017. The admit cards will be available for download from January 5, 2017. GATE 2017 is an entrance exam that is being carried out for the admission to M.Tech programmes at NITs & IITs.
