- Only those candidates who did not get an allotment as per the first choice will have float/ slide options. If you are satisfied with the seat allotment (other than the first choice), you can ‘Freeze’ the seat
- Candidates who secured admission as per first choice will not have float/ slide options. You can accept either the seat or exit from the counselling process.
- Candidates who opted for Float/ Slide till Round 3 for better seat allotment must note that the already allocated seat in any of the previous rounds shall get cancelled if they get a better seat allotment (as per first choice) in Round 4
- Candidates who did not get an allotment in Round 4 can wait for Round 5. However, it is also important to check previous years’ JoSAA cutoff of Round 5 and prepare accordingly. - Candidates who chose the Float/ Slide option in Round 3 but still did not get a better allotment (as per first choice) in Round 4 can again choose Float/ Slide (if required)
- Candidates accepting the seat allotment in Round 4 will have to upload the documents specified by JoSAA. The verification process will be online
