Important Instructions regarding Maharashtra DSE CAP Institute-Level Counselling 2022

Maharashtra DSE CAP Institute-Level Counselling 2022, also referred to as the spot round, will begin from November 29 onwards and will be carried on until December 04. Although the spot round is carried out for CAP seats, it will not be conducted by the CET Cell. Thus, updates regarding the vacant seats or institute-wise counselling dates will NOT be uploaded at cetcell.mahacet.org. Instead, separate advertisements for the counselling schedules and vacancies will be made by the respective institutes on their official websites as well as in local newspapers.

As the spot rounds will not be administered by CET Cell, here are few important instructions to keep a track of:

• As per the individual schedules released by the institutes, interested candidates will have to apply for Maharashtra DSE institute-level counselling 2022 from the concerned official website of the college.

• Along with it, information brochures for admission will also be made available on the website.

• It is to be noted that only those candidates who had registered for the counselling, whether they have been allotted a seat or not, will be eligible for participation. Preference #1 allotted candidates are not eligible for the spot counselling round.

• Based on the registrations made in the given period, the institute will prepare a separate merit list and will publish the same on its official website as well as the institute notice board. This merit list will be made as per the inter-se-merit rank of the candidate as allotted by the CET Cell.

• Allotments will be made strictly as per the institute’s merit list. Any grievance in the allocation of ranks is to be informed to the respective institute.

• Once the seat allotment is made, all admission formalities are to be carried out to confirm the admission.

• If a candidate who has been allotted a seat in Maharashtra DSE CAP round 3 counselling 2022 has taken admission at their round 3 allotted institute, then their fees and submitted documents will be transferred to the freshly allotted college.

• It is also important to note that: if a candidate does not take admission by physically reporting at their round 3 allotted college, then their round 3 allotted seat will be cancelled and they will have no claim to it afterwards, even if they are not allotted a fresh seat in Maharashtra DSE CAP institute level round.

• December 4 is the last date for admission through CAP as well as through the management quota.
