Important instructions regarding Photograph in NEET PG Admit Card 2024: The National Board of Examinations (NBE) has made available the NEET PG 2024 Admit Card to download on the official website. Candidates appearing for NEET PG 2024 exam, scheduled on August 11, are compulsory to bring their admit card to the exam centre. The NBE in their notification has issued crucial guidelines for candidates regarding the photograph to be attached and displayed on the admit card.
These guidelines are crucial as it helps authorities to maintain fairness and transparency in the exam. For the candidate’s reference, we have provided such important guidelines candidates need to follow about the photograph in the NEET PG Admit Card.
NEET PG Admit Card 2024: Instructions Regarding Photograph
Candidates are required to download their admit card and affix firmly their recent (not more than 3 months old) passport-size photograph in the space provided on the admit card. The photograph must meet the following specifications:- The photograph should be taken within the last three months to ensure that it closely resembles the candidate's current appearance.
- The photograph should be in JPEG/JPG format, with a file size between 10 KB to 200 KB. The dimensions should be 3.5 cm × 4.5 cm, with a clear front view of the candidate's face.
- The photograph should have a plain white background, and the candidate should be attired in a light-colored, collared shirt or a plain formal top. Wearing a cap, hat, or sunglasses is not allowed.
- The photograph should be clear, focused, and have a resolution of at least 600 dpi (dots per inch) to ensure high-quality printing on the admit card.
- Candidates are strictly prohibited from using any filters, effects, or digital enhancements on the photograph. The image should be a true representation of the candidate's appearance.
- The photograph should resemble a passport-style photograph, with the candidate's face occupying 80% of the frame and the background being plain white.
- The photograph must not have kinks, scratches and stains.
- The photograph should not have reflection or shadow on the face with red eyes.
