India Chapter of Sony Global Education to Support STEM Education

Introducing Sony Global Education (SGE) Products, popular Japanese consumer electronic firm, Sony has entered into the education domain of India.
The company plans to launch Global Math Challenge (GMC) in India as a part of this new approach. Currently, GMC is available in only a few selected countries of the world like -
- USA
- Japan
- China

SGE is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sony Corporation. Masaaki Isozu, President of Sony Global Education said that while launching it in India, they are looking at giving it a stimulating educational environment and also inspiring people towards a passion for learning across the country.
Kenichiro Hibi, Managing Director, Sony India, said looking at the importance and value Indian society imparts to education and learning, it is indeed a happy and proud moment for them to launch the India chapter of Sony Global Education as to support STEM education in India.
SGE was founded in the year 2015. It uses information technology to improvise the quality of education. The company had started the mission of bringing new innovations to the education industry through different methods like-
