Indian Army SSC Technical Recruitment 2022: The Indian Army has released a recruitment notification inviting applications for several Short Service Commission (SSC) posts. Interested and eligible unmarried Male and unmarried Female Engineering Graduates can apply online through the official website of the Indian Army at joinindianarmy.nic.in. The post is also open to Widows of Indian Armed Forces Defence Personnel who died in harness for grant of Short Service Commission (SSC) in the Indian Army.

The online application process for Short Service Commission Technical Women 30th course and Short Service Commission Technical Men 59th course has started on the official website. Further, the last date to apply for the same is 6 April 2022 till 3 pm.

As per the official notice, the Indian Army SSC course will begin in October 2022 at Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai (Tamil Nadu).

Indian Army SSC Recruitment 2022: Vacancy Details

There are a total of 191 posts that are divided into 3 categories: 

• SSC Technical Men 59th course - 175 Posts
• SSC Technical Women 30th Course - 14 Posts
• Widows of Defence Personnel - 2 Posts

Eligibility criteria for Indian Army Recruitment 2022

Age limit:

(i) For SSC Tech Men and SSC Tech Women - 20 to 27 years as of October 01, 2022, i.e. (Candidates born between 02 Oct 1995 and 01 Oct 2002, both days inclusive).
(ii) For widows of Indian Armed Forces Defence Personnel who Died in Harness Only. SSCW (Non-Tech) (Non-UPSC) and SSCW (Tech) - A maximum of 35 years of age as of October 01, 2022.

Education qualification:

• Candidates who passed the required Engineering Degree or are studying in the final year of their engineering course are eligible to apply.
• Candidates who are in the final year of engineering must be able to present proof of passing the Engineering Degree Examination along with a mark sheet of all semesters/years by 01 Oct 2022.  

How to apply for Indian Army Recruitment 2022?

• Visit the official website- joinindianarmy.nic.in and click on 'Officer Entry Apply/Login'.
• Then click 'Registration' (only for a new candidate). 
• Fill the online registration form and then click on 'Apply Online' under Dashboard. A new page will open.
• Now click on 'Apply' written against Short Service Commission Technical Course.
• The application form will open. Fill in the required details and 'Save & Continue' each time before you go to the next page. 
• Preview the filled form one last time. 
• Then, click on 'Submit'.
