Indian-Origin Students Shine in Singapore’s Major Exam

A student from Indian-origin outshined 40 students in Singapore’s International Baccalaureate Diploma examination and topped the exam. The exam is internationally recognized and accepted for admissions to higher education institutions spread out all over the world.

Rasika Kale is a non-resident Indian who studied at the Singapore-based Global Indian International School (GIIS). She has topped the IB ranking for IBDP exam 2016 for the equivalent of Grade 12. "She scored a perfect 45 out of 45", reported Kamal Gupta, Chief Operating Officer, Global Schools Foundation. GIIS was founded in South East Asia and the Middle East by the Global School Foundation.

Mr. Gupta further added that in an exam conducted at the global level for which students of more than 40 countries apply, securing the first position all over the world is not any less appealing as winning a gold medal.

Rasika is not only a good scholar but is also passionate about performing arts. She is an all-round performer, said Mr. Gupta.

From Rasika, the other three students from GIIS who scored a near to perfect score and have set a benchmark in the test (i.e. 44 out of 45) are Aarushi Khandelwal, Revvand Rajesh and Sibiranjith Nagesh.
