CCMT 2022 Round 1 Seat Allotment Result has been declared today, June 16, 2022. The CCMT 2022 Round 1 Seat Allotment is declared based on the GATE scores of the applied candidates. The applicants who qualify for the CCMT 2022 Round 1 Seat Allotment will have to further pay a seat acceptance fee to secure their seats. Candidates will have three options to move forward: Freezing, Sliding, and Floating. Candidates will have to report in person to their respective institutes to choose any of the three options. CCMT 2022 Round 1 Seat Allotment: Options to choose from
After the declaration of the CCMT 2022 Round 1 Seat Allotment, candidates will have three options:
Freezing: Candidates who are satisfied with their allotted seats may choose to freeze their seats by paying the Seat Acceptance Fee of INR 30,000/-. It implies that the seat is booked by the candidate.
Sliding: Candidates who wish to be allotted to a higher course in the same institute will have to choose the Sliding options. They do not have to pay the Seat Acceptance Fee, yet they still have the opportunity to avail of the seat in the further rounds of CCMT 2022 Seat Allotment.
Floating: Again, in case the candidates wish to wait for a higher preference in other institutions will have to choose the Floating options and will be exempted from the Seat Acceptance Fee.
Stages after the CCMT 2022 Round 1 Seat Allotment
The application for the CCMT 2022 Round 1 Seat Allotment is the first stage of the process. The authorities will then declare the results for CCMT 2022 Round 1 Seat Allotment. Candidates who qualify for the CCMT 2022 Round 1 Seat Allotment will have to follow these stages:
Stage 1: Choose any of the three options: Freezing, Sliding, or Floating.
Stage 2: Pay the Seat Acceptance fee if applicable. If not, wait for Round 2 and Round 3 to confirm and book seats.
Stage 3: Report to the particular institution and complete the document verification.
Stage 4: Candidates who have booked seats will have to pay the partial admission fees to seek admission.
