After the first round seat allotment of CLAT 2022, the candidates should make the payment to the respective NLUs on or before July 2, 2022. Note: The candidates should update the details of online acceptance or rejection with a valid reason.
Accept the Allotted Seat
The candidates should choose the option “Accept the Allotted Seat” when they agree to accept the allotted seat. Once they select this option, no further changes will be considered. The candidates will not be allotted to their other options, even with the rising of vacancies at the later stage.
In this stage, the candidates are also required to upload all the necessary documents on the website of Consortium and complete the payment of the requisite fee minus the applicable fees. The payment should be made to the allotted NLU. For further details, check the official website of the concerned NLU.
Apply for Revise
If the candidates choose the revised option, then the allotted seat will be locked for them and they will be considered for other options of preferred NLUs, which are above the current allotted NLU (if the vacancy rises).
In case of choosing the “Apply for Revise” option, the candidates should complete the payment of the requisite fee to the allotted University and also need to upload the documents on the website Consortium. If the candidates will not pay the fees and required documents, then they will not be eligible for admission and revise the option.
Exit from CLAT Admission Process
The candidates can choose this option if they do not want to participate in the counselling process. Consequently, the candidates will not only lose the currently allotted seat but also will not be considered for allotment in the subsequent lists also.
Note: If the candidates will not choose any of the above-mentioned options within the specified time, then their candidature will not be considered for further admission process. Those candidates will lose the currently allotted seat and also remove their names from the counselling process.
