CLAT Round 1 Seat Allotment 2023 Instructions

The important instructions that must be followed by the seat-allotted candidates are given here:

  • The online reporting at consortiumofnlus.ac.in (accessible through the candidate login) is a mandatory step. Candidates failing to report will automatically lose their seat allocation.

  • The first step in the online reporting process is exercising the Freeze/ Float/ Exit options.

  • Freeze indicates that the candidate is satisfied with their seat allocation, wishes to retain it & take admission, and does not wish to go for further modification in round 2.

  • Float indicates that the candidate wishes to retain the currently allotted seat but also wishes to go for betterment in round 2.

  • Exit indicates that the candidate no longer wishes to participate in the counselling process and wishes to give up the currently allocated seat (if any). Such candidates cannot participate in any further counselling rounds.

  • Regardless if the candidate opts for freeze or float, the payment of the confirmation fee is mandatory. Exit candidates need not pay the fee.

  • The confirmation fee is a non-refundable fee of Rs 20,000/-.

  • The candidates also must upload all the required documents. The list of such documents for both UG and PG is attached below.

  • If a candidate fails to complete the online reporting process then:

    • The candidate will lose the currently allotted seat.
