Candidates must choose four exam cities for JEE Main 2022 from which to submit their applications. Candidates will be assigned to the city of examination in the order in which they selected it in their online Application Form. However, a different city may be assigned for administrative or logistical reasons. The State of Permanent Address or the State of Present Address will be the limited options for Centre Cities.

If a city has a small number of applicants, the National Testing Agency (NTA) reserves the power to merge one, two, or more cities. The NTA's decision on the allocation of the JEE Main 2022 Exam City/Centre will be definitive. In this instance, no further contact or requests will be accepted. Candidates must arrive at the Examination Centre on the day, shift, and time stated on their Admit Cards, which will be distributed by the NTA in due course via its website.
