AICTE has written a letter to Principal Secretay, Higher and Technical Education seeking the opinion of state government regarding policy on granting approval to new colleges, reduction of intake and extending approval of existing colleges. Usually, the revision processes of the approval policy is an annual process for AICTE. However, DTE pointed that there is a brief gap of not consulting the state, the apex body has again sought the suggestions of government.
