The Intermediate Public Exams began on March 2, 2016. So far, there are no late commers as the board imposed strict rules. Around 1,29,000 students are attempting the Inter Exams across 152 centres of Krishna District.
2016 Inter exams are being conducted in a stringent manner. CC Cameras were set up in all the 152 centres and a monitoring hub at the nearby Police Station. Every exam centre consist of a Chief Superintendent and Department Officer. A police constable is appointed for every centre.
The Andhra Pradesh Road Transport has been running special buses for all the examination centres in Vijayawada. Around 150 special buses for 35 routes have been running since 7.00AM.
Even though APSRTC have been running special buses, students have been facing heavy traffic especially on Bundar Road, Ramesh Hospital, Eluru Road, Patamata Circle in Vijayawada. This is common every year as these areas have more exam centres.
The police have imposed 144 Section at all examination centres.
