DKD College Deragaon Introduces Free Computer Course

Institute of Electronic and Information Technology (NIELT) has introduced a free computer course under the aegis of Ministry of Information Technology and Communication Government of India, in association with DKD College Deragaon.
Dergaon Kamal Dowerah College was established in 1962 with a vision of academic, social, cultural and economic development in greater Dergaon area and with clear objectives to provide better education to meet the global requirements successfully.
The course named ‘Certificate in Office Automation’ is meant for the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe students. The people working with government or private organisations can also apply for the course. The course will be taking in 300 students in a batch and 3 batches will be held per year.
According to the principal of the college, Dr Ranjit Kumar Bordoloi, and the coordinator of the course, Dr Khireswar Loying, the course would make the students skilled for any official job in the near future.
Those who are interested in the course can approach Joyjyoti Hazarika, the office assistant of the programme for application form on or before May 25. Also, the participants must enclose caste certificate along with the application form while applying. Participants are requested to do an early registration to avoid last minute rush.
