IPU CET and COMEDK UGET Exam Dates Clash
- Applicants planning to undertake both COMEDK UGET & IPU CET have to choose between the two due to the date clash.

B.Tech Applicants planning to take both COMEDK UGET 2018 and IPU CET 2018 are now in a dilemma as both the entrance exams are scheduled for the same day ie. 13th May 2018.
Aspirants would have to pick between the two exams, considering the factors such as reputation and ranking of the two institutes, faculty, chances of getting admission between the two and others. The authority of COMEDK UGET - Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental College of Karnataka conducts the exam for admission to various institutes and colleges in Karnataka for B.Tech courses whereas IPU CET is conducted by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University.

What is intriguing is that COMEDK UGET and IPU CET are facing a date clash. The GGSIPU CET 2018 exam dates have been announced on January 16, 2018. NATA, UPSEE, and AMUEEE are in the same situation as all the three exams are scheduled for April 29, 2018. One of the biggest concern due to the date clash is that the aspirants are forced to choose between the exams, when they would like to sit for all of them, for better career choices.

The application form of COMEDK UGET 2018 will be made available from 16th January 2018 to 19th April 2018. There are around 20,000 seats that are offered through COMEDK UGET. The number of aspirants that sit for the exam usually is approximately 72,000. However, it is anticipated that the number of applicants might decrease this year due to the date clash.
The application form for IPU CET 2018 is expected to come out in the second week of February and the last date to apply for the exam will be 1st May 2018.
