ISC Class 12 Mathematics Chapter-Wise Weightage 2024: The question paper of ISC Mathematics is divided into three sections: Section A, Section B, and Section C. In this, the chapters per section are divided and their individual weightage is also provided, making it easier for the students to do focused preparation. Section A of the question paper has the highest weightage of 65 marks and is mandatory for all candidates. It consists of four topics: Relations and Functions, Algebra, Calculus, and Probability.

On the contrary, Section B and Section C are in option i.e., the candidate must either attempt Section B or Section C. Both sections are not be solved. These sections have only 15 marks weightage and consist of three chapters each. This way, students can skip three chapters without losing any marks. Only, the remaining three chapters must be well-prepared, details and marks of which are further provided here.

It must be noted that mixed attempts between Section B and Section C are not allowed i.e., if a student solves two questions from Section B and one question from Section C, he/she will only be given marks for the section he/she scores higher in and not for both sections. If a candidate picks Section B to solve, then all questions only in Section B must be answered and none from Section C. The vice-versa of the same also holds true.
