They are now also eligible to take up research projects in the United States.
Syed Umair Ahmed Andrabi and Saiyed Naseer Husain Jafri founded a non-profit organisation called Foundation for Academia Innovation and Thought (F.A.I.T.H). This organisation first started a law journal - South Asian Journal of Law, Policy, and Social Research to bridge the gap between other disciplines and law in South Asia.
The objective of F.A.I.T.H. is to utilize the power of international and interdisciplinary scholarship to solve right injustices and conflict. They also aim to start an incubator fund which will finance social justice projects relevant to South Asia.
The students of Jamia have coordinated successfully with the graduates and undergraduates from the US to stay and work alongside all the interns or volunteers in South Asia under their collaboration program for international students.
