Javadekar Meets VCs of Central Universities, Pledges to Improve Quality of Higher Education

Vowing to "improve" the quality of higher education in the nation amid a review meeting with 41 Vice Chancellors of Central Universities, Union Minister for Human Resource Development Prakash Javadekar revealed that only countries with incredible universities would succeed. Javadekar was addressing while holding a review meeting of Central Universities in the nation here at Banaras Hindu University (BHU).

- Special assistance program initiated by UGC to improve innovation and quality research in higher education institutes across the nation
The Vice Chancellors of central varsities introduced the status of Choice Based Credit System (CBCS), accreditation, new innovative programs, curriculum development and research improvement programme.
BHU Vice Chancellor G C Tripathi explained that Mahamana Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya utilised the instruction as an apparatus for social strengthening which is established in Indian values and culture.
Tripathi stated that the BHU founder additionally needed to build up BHU as a center of holistic education.
