Joint Entrance Examination, popular known as JEE Mains 2018 was wrapped up on 15th April 2018 in online mode for the B.Tech and B.E. admissions has concluded at around 12:30 pm. The offline JEE Main 2018 took place on 8th April 2018. Various candidates from all across the country appeared for the engineering entrance exam after which they must be willing to evaluate their performance in the JEE exam. How to use the JEE Mains 2018 Rank Predictor?

  • Click on JEE Mains 2018 Rank Predictor link here.
  • In the first column, enter the total number of questions that you attempted in total out of the 90 questions that were asked in the exam in the first column.
  • Next, in the second column, please enter the number of correct attempts for which you think you gave the right answer.
  • Click on the submit button.
  • You will now be redirected to another page wherein you will be required to enter your name, an active email ID and mobile number. Once you enter these details in the designated space, click on the submit button.
  • Once you have completed the above-mentioned steps correctly, you will receive your predicted rank in your email.

JEE Mains is an engineering entrance exam which is conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education, popularly known as CBSE.

The MHRD or Ministry of Human Resource Development had introduced a few changes in the JEE Mains exam:

  • Class 12th marks, this year, will not be given any weightage in the calculation of JEE Mains 2018 ranks.
  • The aspirants who wish to seek admission in the Indian Institutes of Technology, Indian Institutes of Information Technology, National Institutes of Technology and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (IITs/IIITs/NITs/CFTIs), should have secured an aggregate of at least 75% marks in the main class 12th examinations or should be in the top 20 percentile in the 12th class examination conducted by various Boards across the country. The criteria has been relaxed up to 65% for candidates belonging to the ST and SC categories.
