NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay released a notification dated April 14, 2022, stating postponement in the exam date of JEE Advanced 2022. Earlier, the JEE Advanced 2022 exam was scheduled to be held on July 3, 2022. However, the national-level entrance exam will now be conducted on August 28, 2022. Along with the exam date, IIT Bombay has also revised other dates related to the exam. Read the complete piece to have insights into the changes. Reason of postponement
Although no official information has been disseminated with respect to the reason for which the JEE Advanced has been postponed to a new date. However, it is being assumed that the decision has been taken due to overlapping dates of JEE Main exam and other competitive exams.

About JEE Advanced 2022
The Joint Entrance Examination Advanced, more commonly known as JEE Advanced 2022 will be conducted by the seven Zonal Coordinating IITs under the guidance of the Joint Admission Board 2022 (JAB 2022). As per the paper pattern, the examination consists of two papers (Paper 1 and Paper 2) of three hours duration each. It is mandatory for candidates to appear in both papers.
Through JEE Advanced 2022, IITs will offer admission into undergraduate courses leading to a bachelor's, Integrated master's, Bachelor-Master Dual Degree in Engineering, Sciences, or Architecture.
