JEE Main 2022: Check previous years' Chemistry Paper Analysis & Topic-wise weightage
NTA scheduled the JEE Main 2022 Phase 1 exam from June 20 to June 29, 2022. Check the expected difficulty level of Chemistry paper and subject wise weightage here.
The National Testing Agency has scheduled the JEE Main 2022 Phase 1 exam from June 20 to June 29, 2022. The candidates have to answer the questions from Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry subjects. The Chemistry syllabus comprises approximately 30 chapters. JEE Main 2022 Chemistry syllabus are classified as Organic, Inorganic and Physical Chemistry.
A total of 30 questions (20 MCQ based questions and 10 numerical value based questions) will need to be answered on Chemistry in the JEE Main 2022 exam. Total allotted marks in the JEE Main exam Chemistry section is 100.

Previous Years’ Chemistry Paper Analysis & Expected Difficulty Level for JEE Main 2022
As per the paper analysis of previous years’ JEE Main exam, the difficulty level of Chemistry paper for 2021 was moderate to easy compared to other two subjects. If the candidates had good grip about the basic knowledge of Chemistry, then they were able to successfully attend all the questions. In addition, the moderate to easy difficulty level of the previous years’ Chemistry paper led to completing the paper fast. It did not take much time to solve the paper.
In 2020, the difficulty level of Chemistry paper was also moderate to easy than the other two subjects. Based on the analysis, it can be assumed that the JEE Main 2022 Chemistry paper will also be moderate, somewhat the candidates can feel the Chemistry paper is easier than Mathematics and Physics. Hence, the candidates are advised to clear your basics first to get a good score from Chemistry.
