JEE Main 2023 and Bihar 12th Maths Exam Date Clash: BSEB notifes NTA

JEE Main Vs Bihar Board: A clash between the Engineering entrance exam (JEE) and Bihar Board Exam has raised concern among students. NTA recently released the JEE city slip and scheduled it for the examination centre. Upon the announcement, most of the students are in confusion as the Bihar 12th Board Maths exam is scheduled on 1st February 2023. The JEE main exam is also scheduled on the same day. Not only that but most of the practical exam for Bihar Board 12th is also scheduled during the JEE main 2023 exam day. 

Most of the students have raised concerns that if the city is in a different centre it would become difficult to travel to another city as both the exams are on the same day. Apart from that some of the students have also raised concerns about the city they were offered was not selected during the application. A large number of students have raised the concern and sent complaints related to the same through email and phone.

NTA has announced the 2nd and 3rd as the reserved date for the JEE Main. But the Bihar 12th Board for science stream is scheduled on the 2nd and 3rd of February as well. Students will be eagerly waiting for the response from the National Testing Agency (NTA) 

As per the notification released by the authorities, the exam will be held in 13 shifts. The JEE main exam is scheduled on the 24th, 25th, 29th, 30th and 31st of January 2023. The 1st February exam will be held in two different shifts from 9 AM to 12 AM and 3 PM to 6 PM. Apart from that on 28th January 2023, the B.Arch exam will be held on shifts 3 to 6. This year a total of 9.15 Lakh of students have registered for the Jee Main exam.
