JEE Main First Reactions 27 January 2024 Shift 2
The first reactions of the students for the morning shift on 27 January 2024 will be updated here after the conclusion of the exam:
- The students have stated to be on the easier side when compared to the morning shift today and the previous year's papers.
- In this shift, Physics was again the easiest subject with the majority of the questions being concept-based, rather than calculation-based.
- Mathematics was slightly lengthy but it wasn't tricky. The questions were mostly easy with only a few tough questions.
- Chemistry had two questions that could be said to be from the deleted topics, but the core concept of these questions adhered to the topics present in the revised syllabus.
- The shift 2 had more weightage for inorganic chemistry, followed by organic and physical chemistry. Additionally, physical chemistry and organic chemistry shared equal weightage in the NAT section as opposed to physical chemistry domination in other papers.
- The questions from all subjects had their core concepts based on NCERT books only.
- Multiple PYQs were repeated in this shift.
- KTG, Thermodynamics, Mechanics, and Modern Physics had direct questions that can easily be solved with basic theory and formula knowledge.
