JEE Main 2025 Notification Soon: Age limit, year of appearance details

JEE Main 2025 Notification: The National Testing Agency will release the JEE Main 2025 notification soon on their official portal. The candidates who have passed the Class 12 or equivalent examinations in the academic years of 2023, 2024, or appearing in 2025 are also eligible to apply for JEE Main 2025. The candidates may need to meet the age criteria of the institutes where they wish to seek admission.
JEE Main 2025 Notification: List of Qualifying Examinations
Candidates can refer to the below-mentioned list of qualifying examinations for applying JEE Main 2025: -
- The final examination of the 10+2 system is conducted by the recognized central/ state like CBSE, CISCE New Delhi etc.
- Intermediate or 2-year pre-university examination
- Final examination of the 2-year course of the Joint Services Wing of the National Defense Academy.
- Senior Secondary School Examination is conducted by the National Institute of Open Schooling with a minimum of five subjects.
- Equivalent to the 10+2 system by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
- Higher Secondary Certificate Vocational Examination.
- A Diploma recognized by AICTE or a State Board of Technical Education of at least 3 years duration.
- General Certificate Education (GCE) examination (London/Cambridge/Sri Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level.
- High School Certificate Examination of the Cambridge University or International Baccalaureate Diploma of the International Baccalaureate Office, Geneva.
- Candidates who completed 12 classes from abroad must provide AIU certification.
- If the Class 12 Examination is not a public examination, then the candidate must have passed at least one public (Board or Pre-University) examination earlier.
The candidates must note that those who completed the class 12 or equivalent exam in 2022 or earlier, as well as those who will take it in 2026, will not be eligible to appear in JEE Main 2025.
