Day 1 and Shift 1 of JEE Main 2022 has been conducted on June 23 for Paper 2 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The question paper of JEE Main Paper 2 consists of two sub-papers, Paper 2A for B.Arch and Paper 2B for B.Plan. For both papers, Part-I (Mathematics) and Part-II (Aptitude Test) are in common while Part-III for B.Arch is a Drawing Test and that of B.Plan is Planning-Based Questions. Except for B.Arch Drawing Test (as discussed above) and Mathematics part, both CBT papers had objective-type questions only. In Mathematics, 10 numerical questions were asked out of which 5 had to be answered. JEE Main 2022 answer key date is expected to be July 1, and the result date of JEE Main 2022 Paper 2 is expected to be by July 10.

Highlights of JEE Main 23rd June Analysis (First Reaction)
- The difficulty level of shift 1 question paper was moderate as per students
- The mathematics section had some difficult questions
- The Numerical section in mathematics was particularly found to be lengthly
- The aptitude section was found to be moderately easy by the students, with emphasis on three-dimensional figures
- The drawing section was the easiest section in the paper according to the candidates. The focus was on drawing scenes from Indian festival and color scheme analysis of the brand logo
