JEE Main 27th July 2021 Shift 2 Question Paper Analysis (Available), Answer Key, Solutions

Day 4 and Shift 2 of JEE Main 2021 Phase 3 took place on July 27 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. As per the exam pattern of JEE Main 2021 set by NTA, the weightage of the total marks of the question paper is 300, and the candidates need to answer 25 questions from each section (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics). On the other hand, 15 NAT questions that candidates will need to answer do not have negative marking for the wrong attempt. The officialanswer key of JEE Main July 2021 will be released by July 29. On the other hand, JEE Main 2021 Phase 3 result will be released within 5 or 7 days after the exam.

Here are some of the major highlights of JEE Main 27th July Shift 2 analysis -

• As per the feedback received from students, the overall difficulty level of the paper was moderate
• Out of total responses received, 76% of students reported the exam as moderate
• 68% of students considered Physics as moderate
• 77% of students responded that Mathematics was difficult and lengthy
• 50% of students reported that the Chemistry section was moderate and 41% of students considered it as Easy
• 68% of students responded that the Chemistry section was partially NCERT-based
• 45-47 can be expected number of good attempts as per 20 students
• In this shift, the paper was time-consuming overall
• The mathematics section was again tricky and lengthy
• There were more math the following type questions in Chemistry
• Statistics questions in Mathematics seemed tough as per one student
• Physics seemed modestly difficult as per some students
• Physical Chemistry questions were integer-based
• Mathematical reasoning, statistics, Coordinate Geometry and Trigonometry were some chapters in Mathematics
• Organic Chemistry had a good number of questions from Chemistry 
• The difficulty level of Shift 1 & 2 is almost similar
• There were 1-2 questions from Semi-Conductor, 2 from KTG & Thermodynamics from Physics
