Shift 2 of JEE Main 2023 Day 4 has concluded on January 29, 6:00 PM. The detailed question paper analysis, along with memory-based questions and answer key, is provided here.
JEE MAIN 2023 ANALYSIS: With the session of today morning, the exam for B.Tech Paper 1 resumed after a gap of three days. The evening shift of JEE Main 2023 is has been conducted from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., an hour extra for PwD candidates. The conduct of the test as CBT makes the question paper unavailable and hence, the complete analysis which will consist of the topic-wise weightage, difficulty-level-wise weightage, etc. has been updated shortly after the memory-based questions are collected and analysed accordingly.
For all questions, be it MCQs or NAT questions, there is a negative marking at -1 per incorrect question and +4 per correct question. The paper had three subjects, PCM, each with 20 MCQs and 10 NAT questions. Unlike MCQs, NAT questions had the option to attempt only 5 out of 10 questions.

- Physics was moderate and formula based
- Chemistry was based on NCERT partly and was relatively easy
- Mathematics was lengthy and moderate
- The question pattern saw some changes and the structure has changed
