JEE Main 29th July 2022 Shift 2 Analysis: At over 500 centres in India and 17 outside, JEE Main 2022 Session 2 is being conducted for over 6 lakh candidates in two shifts every day from July 25 to July 30. Shift 2 of JEE Mainhas beenconducted from 03.00 p.m. to 06.00 p.m. for Paper 1 (B.Tech). The question paper of JEE Main Paper 1 is such that it has 90 questions in all with each question upholding a weightage of 4 marks.
These 90 questions are equally divided into three sections of 30 questions each. These sections are subject-based viz., Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Although there are MCQ and Numerical Aptitude Type (NAT) questions, the marking scheme for both is the same. However, in NAT questions, the flexibility of half the options is provided wherein a candidate only has to answer 5 questions out of 10. As negative marking is applicable, one mark will be cut for every wrong answer.
