JEE Main Advance 2024 Not Postponed due to General Elections: Exam to be conducted on May 26

JEE Main Advance 2024 NOT Postponed: The Indian Institute of Technology, Madras has shared an announcement that the exam date of JEE Advanced 2024 is unaffected by the General Elections. As per the official notice, JEE Advanced 2024 examination will be conducted on the scheduled date i.e. May 26, 2024. JEE Main Advanced 2024 Exam Not Postponed

After the result of JEE Main Session 2, the shortlisted candidates from Session 1 and Session 2 may register for JEE Advanced 2024 examination for admission prospects to IITs. The last date to register for JEE Advance is April 30. However, there was some agitation related to the exam date of the Advanced exam as it was being held during the Indian Loksabha Elections 2024 in some states of the country. The conducting authority, IIT Madras has cleared the confusion of the applicants and shared a separate notice on the same. 

According to the notice named ‘Update on JEE (Advanced) 2024 Exam Date’ on the official website, the institute states: “There is no change in the exam date for the JEE (Advanced) 2024 in view of the general elections 2024. The exam will be conducted on 26th May, 2024 as scheduled.”
