As NTA has released JEE Main application form 2024, the applicants can check the important instructions regarding choosing an exam city.
JEE Main 2024: The National Testing Agency opened the registration for JEE Main 2024. Candidates aspiring to appear for JEE Main 2024 shall note that the last date to register for the exam is November 30. The first phase of the examination is scheduled to be held from January 24 to February 1 for the registered candidates at the assigned exam centers. While filling in the application form, candidates will also have to fill in the exam centers. Candidates will have three choices to be filled for exam centers, and they will be allotted the exam center accordingly for the exam day. The advance city intimation slip will be released by NTA for registered candidates indicating the exam city, and the final exam venue will only be mentioned on the admit card. So, here are some important instructions to be noted by the candidates regarding the exam cities to be filled at the time of filling out the application form.

Instructions regarding Exam Cities for JEE Main Application Form 2024
Candidates shall take note of these instructions for exam cities for JEE Main Application Form 2023:- Each candidate will have the chance to select any three exam cities while filling out the application form online when released. Candidates shall fill in all three choices to ensure being allotted exam centers in any of the three cities.
- It is best to choose the cities that are easily accessible to the candidate to appear for the exams. NTA will allot the candidates to the exam centers as per availability and choices filled by the candidate.
- JEE Main is being held in multiple cities across the country as well as internationally in a few cities, so, candidates will have ample choices to choose from at their convenience.
- Make sure to choose cities that can be reached within a few hours or overnight so that the candidate does not have to spend time travelling before the exam day, to ensure proper rest before the exams.
