JEE Main 2018: CBSE Disapproves Reports of Similar Questions from Mock Test

CBSE has disapproved of the reports that around seven to eight question in JEE Main 2018 examination was from a sample question paper set by a coaching institute in the year 2016. As per the reports, CBSE officials stated that all questions asked in the paper were original and were set by examiners two months before the exam. The question bank for the exams is prepared by 100 exam experts and each question is handwritten, the CBSE added.

The official said that all the questions are picked randomly out of which eight to nine sets of question paper are created. The handwritten sets are also created for each set and one set is randomly picked for the JEE exam and is sent to the confidential printer for printing.

CBSE has been asking people to no to pay much attention to such news as all the questions in the exam were original and it is impossible for any coaching centre to figure out these questions two years back. As per the officials, everybody is deliberately spreading such rumours regarding a prestigious organization like CBSE due to the paper leak of Class 10 maths and Class 12 economics.

However, the board has recently announced to re-conduct the Class 12th economics paper leak. It is since then CBSE has been battling with rumours of the paper leak. One of the HRD Ministry official said that such rumours are a deliberate effort to create panic among students regarding the JEE Main examination.
