JEE Main Expected Cutoff 2023 for General Category (UR)
The expected JEE Main cutoff 2023 for general category is given here. The analysis is based on past trends while considering other factors that affect the cutoff values.
JEE Main General Cutoff 2023: The cutoff is the minimum percentile required to be eligible to register for admission counselling. Each year, this cutoff percentile differs. The main factors affecting the cutoff are the number of registrations for the exam, the number of seats available, and also the overall difficulty level of the sessions. When compared to the previous year, the registrations for session 2 have approximately gone up by 3 lakhs, which indicates a steep increase in competition. Hence, JEE Main cut-off 2023 is likely to go up as well, especially for the general category.
If the previous trends for all the reserved categories are observed, then their cutoffs are seen to be decreasing. On the contrary, JEE Main general cutoff marks are on a steady rise in the same time frame.
