JEE Main OBC Cutoff 2023: The cutoff for the OBC-NCL category is usually the second-highest after the general category and the same will be followed this year as well. However, in comparison with the last year, JEE Main cut off for OBC category is expected to decrease to between 66 to 67 percentile but it is not likely to be a significant decrease.
Ever since the percentiles were introduced in 2019, the cutoff for the OBC category has been decreasing by 1 to 2 percentile each year. This year though, one of the major cutoff-affecting factor — the number of unique registrations have seen growth, thus increasing the competition and toughening the cutoffs. The values of the expected minimum and maximum JEE Main cutoff for the other backward classes is given. This cutoff is for eligibility of counselling only and not for the eligibility of JEE Advanced. The eligibility of advanced exam is rank-based instead of percentile-based. First 2,50,000 rank holders will only be eligible for JEE advanced.
