JEE Main Expected Cutoff 2023 for SC Category
The expected JEE Main cutoff 2023 for SC category is given here. The analysis is based on past trends while considering other factors that affect the cutoff values.
JEE Main SC Cutoff 2023: If the past trends are observed, JEE Main cutoff for SC category has been reducing each year by 3 to 4 percentiles. But this year, while a decrease in cutoff is expected, it is not likely to be as high as the previous years. It is because one of the major factors that affect cutoff is the number of registrations done for the exam and this academic year, around 3 lakh registrations for session 2 have increased as compared to 2022’s session 2.
Although the registrations for session 1 are in the same range for both years, this difference is expected to increase the number of unique registrations and thus, the cutoffs will become tougher. Subsequently, the maximum cutoff percentile is also likely to rise. For the unversed, the maximum cutoff is the percentile above which a reserved student will be admitted under the general category and his/her reservation will stand nullified.
