JEE Main Final Result 2022: Here’s How the Result is Calculated?

Here is the process through which NTA calculates JEE Main final result 2022 -

Normalization Process: NTA implements a normalization process to ensure fairness in the result announcement. NTA considers the highest raw score secured in each shift of the exam to calculate the percentile. Students with the highest score in a specific shift will get 100 percentile. NTA determines the average score on the basis of the highest marks and lowest marks in each shift.

Best Percentile among Two Sessions: NTA will consider the best percentile secured by the candidate among the Session 1 and 2 exam of JEE Main. For example, if a candidate scores 98 percentile in Session 1 and 99 percentile in Session 2, NTA considers 99 percentile for the final result. This is one of the best advantages of the JEE Main exam where the candidates get flexibility.
