JEE Main January 2023 Answer Key Date: Know when official answer key is expected
Following the trends of 2022 and 2021, the expected JEE Main 2023 answer key date for January Session 1 is given here. The previous years' trends are also mentioned for reference.
JEE MAIN JANUARY 2023: If the schedule followed by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for the two sessions in 2022 and four sessions in 2021 is taken into consideration, it can be expected that JEE Main 2023 answer key for the January session will be released anytime between February 03 and February 05, 2023. As per the new dates, JEE Main January 2023 session ends on February 01, instead of earlier January 31. After the session ends, NTA usually releases the answer key within 2 to 4, more expectedly on the third day.
These dates will also most likely be applicable for Paper 2 candidates. In 2022, NTA released the answer keys for Paper 2 along with those of Paper 1 for both sessions. However, the same was not the case in 2021. For the four sessions, the duration for the answer key release of Paper 2 varied between 3 days to even a month in the last session.

With the release of the answer key, NTA will also release the recorded responses of the students. Candidates thus can check their papers and estimate their scores beforehand. However, to maintain the authenticity of the exam, the agency allows students to raise their objections against the answer key released by the NTA. A separate window for it will be opened through which any such objections can be submitted. These objections will then be reviewed by the expert committee of the NTA and if any of these objections are found valid, these will be implemented in the final answer key. The checking of the papers and the calculation of the results is solely carried out as per the final answer keys.
The objection window will be kept open only for two days after the release of the answer key. Afterwards, no challenges against the key will be entertained. Also, objections against the final answer key or the results are summarily rejected.
