JEE Main January 2023 Day 2: National testing agency successfully concluded the JEE Main Session 1 Day 2 today 25th January 2023. The first shift was concluded between 9 AM to 12 PM. Upon the completion of the Exam, we received a mixed reaction from students and different coaching institutes. As per the students, the Shift 1 question paper was moderate where the physics section was comparatively easier than math and physics. There were mixed reactions for chemistry where some of the candidates said the paper was easy and others reacted as difficult. For math, the reaction was similar to Day 1 paper as moderate to difficult. Below candidates can check the reaction by different coaching institutes:
As per the reaction by Mohit Tyagi, The overall reaction for shift 1 was moderate same as the day 1 paper. The physics paper received the easy-to-moderate reaction followed by the chemistry section. The math section was moderate to difficult, similar to the Day 1 Shift 2 paper. In the math section, there were questions from vectors, 3-D geometry, calculus, and integration. Whereas in the physics section, there were questions about semiconductors, modern physics, electricity and more. Like Day 1 all the questions in chemistry were not directed from the NCERT. Apart from that the chemistry section had more numerical-based questions from physical chemistry.

As per Nitin Arora, and Akash Byjus the physics section was easily compared to the other section in the exam. All the equations in physics were direct and formulas based which can be easily solved. The chemistry section had mixed reactions, easy to moderate. Mathematics was comparatively more difficult than other sections.

As per the FITJEE analysis, the mathematics was moderate to difficult. The question was asked from Matrices, Complex Numbers, Differentiation, Determinants, Vectors, 3D Geometry, Probability, Permutation & Combination, Binomial Theorem, Definite, Integrals, and more. The physics section was easy and the chemistry section received a mixed reaction between easy to moderate. Overall the JEE Main Day 2 Shift 1 was moderate similar to the previous day's paper.
