JEE Main Paper Analysis 6 April 2024 Shift 2: The detailed question paper analysis of Day 3 Shift 2 can be checked here. The exam was conducted by NTA today April 6 between 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The difficulty level of Day 3 Shift 2 exam was Moderate. Physics was doable and formulae-based and easy compared to January Session. Mathematics was dominated by Vector 3D and was lengthy but doable. Few questions in Maths were tricky and time-consuming. Chemistry was the easiest. The majority of students found Day 3 Shift 2 paper on the easier side than the January session. Expert Advice| As there is no examination on Sunday, students appearing for 8th April exam must utilize this break efficiently by solving more and more previous year's papers and mock tests to assess their preparation. - Questions in Physics were doable and formulae-based.
- Some students reported that some changes in the pattern were there.
- Overall Day 3 Shift 2 examination was of Moderate level.
- Chemistry was easy and students were able to attempt the section within 30 to 40 minutes.
- As per students, Questions from the NCERT 12th syllabus were 60% while from the 11th syllabus it was 40%.
- Overall the paper was balanced with no questions being asked from the reduced syllabus.

- Current electricity questions were a bit tricky to solve.
- In modern physics 5 to 6 questions were asked which were formula based.
- Direct questions were asked from Physical chemistry but were fewer.
- Some students reported physics pattern was changed compared to earlier sessions.
- 1 to 2 questions in Physical chemistry were theoretical based.
- Organic chemistry weightage was more compared to Inorganic Chemistry.
- In Day 3 shift 2 examination there was not uniformity in chapters.
