JEE Main 2023 Question Paper April 6: Day 1 of JEE Main 2023 Session 2 was successfully conducted on April 6, 2023 for Paper 1 (B.Tech). The exam was held in two shifts: morning and evening, and both shifts have now concluded. The question paper of JEE Main exam consisted of 90 questions (30 questions each from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics). There was a choice in NAT questions wherein the candidates had to answer 5 questions out of 10 from each section. As the mode of JEE Main exam 2023 was online (computer-based), the candidates can download here the memory-based questions and solutions released by different coaching institutes. Below candidates can check the memory-based question and solutions by some of the popular institutes like Reliable, Resonance, Vedantu, Akash Byjus, and more. Authorities will be releasing the JEE Main Asnwer key 2023 after the completion of the exam. JEE Main B.Arch paper is scheduled on 12th April 2023.

- As per the first reactions of the students, they found Physics to be tougher than that of Session 1 but Mathematics, though still not easy, was still better than that of Session 1. Chemistry too was tougher than January with more weightage on Physical Chemistry.
- The theoretical questions from Physical chemistry were directly NCERT-based. However, the numerical problems were more application-based.
- There were 5 questions from Biomolecules, Polymers, Environmental Science, etc. JEE Main-specific topics.
- The questions from Vectors & 3D were easy. Three questions were asked from it.
- Physics was said to be at NEET-level, tougher than Session 1.
- There were questions from the Binomial Theorem (3 questions), Mathematical Reasoning, Applications of Integration and Derivation (4 to 5 questions).
- In Physics, there were questions from wave optics, mechanics, electrodynamics, magnetism, etc. The Physics Section was mainly formula-based but there were some application-based questions as well.

- Although the overall difficulty level of the paper was classified to be moderate, the shift 2 paper was still stated to be tougher than that of today's shift 1.
- The Physics and Maths papers were slightly more difficult than those of shift 1 while the difficulty level of Chemistry remained the same.
- The students said that the questions from Vectors & 3D were very easy and direct.
- In Chemistry, 6 to 7 questions were direct theory-and-NCERT-based while the rest of the questions required more understanding of the concepts.
- In Physics, 4 to 5 questions were direct formula-based and were rated to be easy.
- The Mathematics subject was said to be lengthy and toughest out of the three subjects. Some of the questions were very tricky while about 3 to 4 questions were direct.
- An equally divided weightage was given to JEE Main-specific topics for all three subjects. Each had about 4 to 5 questions from these topics.
- Chemistry had questions from d-block, p-block, environmental chemistry, qualitative salt analysis, etc. The weightage in chemistry was not concentrated on a few topics only but was rather divided throughout the syllabus.
- Physics had questions from electromagnetism and mechanics mainly.
- Maths had about 3 questions from integration, while the majority of the questions were asked from binomial theorem, vectors & 3D, differentiation, functions, permutations and combinations, etc.
