JEE Main Shift 1 Analysis 29 January 2024: The morning shift of JEE Mains 2024 29 January B.Tech Session 1 Day 2 was held today, January 29, 2024, from 9 AM to 12 Noon. Our subject experts at Collegedekho have shared the detailed analysis of the paper as per the cumulative memory-based questions and student reviews received. Overall Day 2 Paper 1 exam was moderate, whereas Mathematics was tough and challenging. On the other side, Chemistry was the easiest of all and Physics was too on Easier side. The difficulty level, topics asked, and the number of good attempts will give the students an extensive outlook of how the paper was. The ones who are yet to take the exam can also refer to it to know the expected difficulty level of their paper. Each subject had two sections, where Section A comprised 25 MCQs while Section B comprised 10 NAT questions out of which only 5 questions had to be answered. The overall expected good attempts for JEE Main 2024 Jan 29 Shift 1 exam are 54-55.

- Based on the initial reaction of students, the Day 2 exam was overall moderate.
- Mathematics was lengthy compared to the other two subjects. Approximately, 60% of questions were formula based.
- Direct questions in Mathematics were found. Some questions were quite similar to Day 1 Maths examination.
- Four questions were asked from Optic Lens.
- Chemistry was easy to attempt and most of the questions were NCERT-based.
- Questions from Organic Chemistry had the highest weightage.
- 2 questions from the Galvanometer were asked in Physics.
- Physics questions were easy and formulae-based.
- In Mathematics, questions from Sequence and Order were easy to solve.
- On average, examinees took 45 minutes to attempt questions from Physics.
- Day 2 Mathematics exam constituted time-consuming and difficult questions from Vectors and 3D point of intersection.
- Compared to the Paper 1 Day 1 examination, questions from Organic Chemistry were less in the Day 2 exam.
- Candidates appearing for the upcoming JEE Main 2024 Session 1 examination must try to improve their speed while attempting the Mathematics section.
