JEE Main Shift 2 Paper Review 28 January 2025: Students' Reviews
JEE Main 28 January shift 2 exam's student reviews and analysis are available now. Check out the same below:
- Physics was moderate. Ray Optics had 5 questions out of which 3 were tough and 2 were easy questions. Electromagnetism had 3 to 4 questions (1 question had a disk through which a magnetic field is passing so candidates were supposed to calculate the potential difference). Modern Physics had only 1 question mixed with Ray Optics concept. 1 question had 2 mixed refractive indices and radius of curvature for miniscus was asked. 1-2 questions from Kinematics were asked. 1 easy question from Units and Dimensions. 1 question from rotation.
- In Physics, 1 question also came from Radioactivity, 1 question from Fluid Mechanics, 1 easy question from Current Electricity, 1 question from EM Waves, direct formula-based E=BC, 1 question from Semiconductor (question on diode and voltage mixed together where candidates were supposed to create a graph), Thermodynamics had 2 questions, 1 question from Gravitation, 1 question from SHM, No questions from Electrostatics chapter.
- Chemistry was moderate. 2 questions from Biomolecules (alpha and beta linkages based doable question), 1 question from Chemical Bonding (paramagnetic and dimagnetic based question), 2 questions from GOC. Inorganic and Organic chemistry had more questions and Physical Chemistry had least amount of questions. 1 question from Coordination compounds based on hybridisation mixed with Periodic Table (sp3d2, d2sp3), 1 tough question from unit vectors in physical chemistry. 1 question from Electrochemistry (Nitric acid gram was given and percentage was supposed to be calculated - based on Mole Concept), 1 question from Chemical Kinetics
- Maths was moderate and lengthy. Integration topic had 4-5 questions which were calculative, difficult, and lengthy. 3 questions were asked from Conic Section, Permutation & Combination + Probability had 3-4 questions. 1 question from Area Under the Curve, 1 mixed question from Circle and Parabola topic. 1 question where quadratic equation was mixed with complex numbers, 1 question from calculus where again quadratic equation was mixed. 1 easy question from Matrix and Determinants, 1 question from Binomial Theorem which was mixed with sequence series concept.
- In Maths, 1 question came where log and integration concepts were mixed. 1 question where trignometry and summation series were combined.
- As per experts and students, JEE Main 28 January 2025 Shift 2 was easier than JEE Main 28 January 2025 Shift 1.
- As per experts, JEE Main 28 January 2025 Shift 2 overall paper was a bit different as few chapters from all the three subjects dominated in this shift of the exam.
