JEE Mains 2024 29 January: The National Testing Agency is conducting the JEE Mains January 2024 Day 2 examination for Paper 1 B.Tech on 29 January in Shift 1 and 2. This is the second day of the JEE Mains exam for Session 1, and the first day i.e., JEE Mains 2024 27 January was conducted peacefully across the country. The Shift 1 exam will begin at 9:00 AM and conclude at 12:00 PM. While the question paper difficulty level of Day 1 was 'Moderate', the candidates can expect a similar difficulty level for Day 2 as well. For Session 1 of JEE Mains 2024, around 12.3 lakh candidates have been registered and among them, 1.6 lakh candidates are from Maharashtra. The test takers will get a total of 75 questions (from each section of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics) of 300 marks.
- Candidates will be given 4 marks for every correctly marked answer for the MCQ section and Numerical section; whereas one mark will be reduced for each incorrectly marked answer
- No negative marking will be there for the unanswered questions
