JEST 2017 Application Date Extended
The candidates who are going to qualify Bachelor’s (for B.Sc) or Master’s ( for PhD) in August 2017 are eligible to appear for JEST 2017 examination.
The candidates who are planning on taking the Joint Entrance Screening Test 2017 or JEST 2017 examination for admission to M. Sc and Ph.D / Integrated Ph.D Programmes in any of the participating institutes of the exam are in for some good news. The application date for JEST 2017 has been extended for now.
Joint Entrance Screening Test (JEST) 2017 is an entrance examination that is being conducted for the admission to M.Sc or Integrated M.Sc as well as Integrated M.Tech programmes. The examination is also being carried out for the aspirants who wish to pursue Ph. D or Integrated PhD in:
- Computational biology
- Neuroscience
- Theoretical Computer Science
- Physics

JEST has been recognised as the National Eligibility Test (NET) by “The Science & Engineering Research Board (SERB). The candidates who qualify in this examination are also eligible to seek enhanced fellowship.

The candidates have to apply only through the official website of JEST. The official website did not mention the exact date of declaration of results. However, the results are expected to be out in March 2017. JEST 2017 examination will take place in 33 cities across India.
